Situation: German operating subsidiary inside a wider group recovery. The group set out to cut inventory by 22% and release cash.
Intervention: At Accenture, Stephen led the German division’s working-capital reduction with an eight-person team. The work covered SKU rationalisation, sales and operations planning, new product introduction, targeted inventory disposal and stronger controlling.
Outcome: €24 to 25M of cash released from the German operation in under a year. That was Stephen’s part of the €37.5M released by the group programme.
